The Failed Expedition to Torrecilla… The Peak in the Sierra de las Nieves Range

Snow caught us off guard...! This time, we didn't make it to the summit of Torrecillathe highest peak in the Sierra de las Nieves, though that was the plan... but we visited Tajo de la Caina. Wading knee-deep in snow turned out to be too exhausting, our pace slowed, and a blizzard nearly blew us off the trail – which I managed to capture with my camera in the nick of time... ;))) It was beautiful, the scenery up top was like something out of a fairy tale So we'll be heading back on the same trail soon...
