While winding through Galicia, we spent a night at a campsite 📍_This campsite is just a few hundred meters from the beautiful Montalvo Beach, known for its golden sand and stunning views of the Atlantic islands and towns nestled in the bays of Galicia.
The campsite offers a wide range of accommodation options, including spots for tents, caravans, and RVs.
On-site amenities include a pool, restaurant and bar, and a playground.
Attractions around Montalvo
The area around the campsite offers many attractions and ways to spend your free time. Here are a few:
- Montalvo Beach: Perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. The water is clean, and the beach is never too crowded.
- Sanxenxo: A lively town nearby, known for its beautiful beaches, seafood restaurants, and vibrant nightlife.
- _: This region is famous for its picturesque bays and is ideal for boat trips, fishing, and tasting Albariño wine.
- Parque Nacional das Illas Atlánticas: A national park that includes several islands, such as Cíes and Ons, offering incredible views, wildlife, and hiking trails.
- Bike Rentals: Allowing you to explore the area on two wheels. Trails lead through scenic landscapes and charming villages.
👍🏻 Highly recommended, a neat place, but some sections are a bit too crowded for my taste, and the paths are steep. For one to three nights, it was fine for me, but for a longer stay, I’d prefer to check out other campsites in the area. When we arrived (in August), this was the only spot we found available...
